I get so frustrated when people say that men and women process things differently STRICTLY BECAUSE OF THEIR SEX/BIOLOGY. ie, “he’s acting that way because he’s a boy,” “hormones control so much of a woman’s reaction,” etc. It’s absolute bullshit, yet I know so many people who believe it. People tell me I’m not allowed to be cold because I’m from Alaska, as if I should be immune to it by now. Admittedly, I do play up my homeland on occasion (okay, a lot) but seriously. Laramie is very cold right now.
